CITIES ABOVE

A social study was carried out a few years ago on crowd psychology which looked at how large crowds of moving people resemble a similar flow as water in a river. Avoiding obstacles, people will naturally start to follow each other through them almost subliminally. I discovered an immense fascination with how these studies have evolved in how cities have changed to accommodate such movements at peak hours and also how people can be more easily guided towards a destination. This collection highlights images shot from high vantage points over large urban areas featuring streets and roads that can resemble rivers flowing through forest of tall trees.
